Clear about
your information.

How stimutide.com collects, uses and stores information when you browse, sign in, sign up for updates, send a quote request or place an order.

What you submit

Quote requests and contact messages store your name, email, optional organization, message, selected compounds and sizes, quantities, the displayed catalog total, and a reference. The record also includes its source and creation time. Sending one does not place an order, take payment, or subscribe you to marketing.

Orders placed at checkout store your name, email, optional company or lab, shipping address, phone number, the compounds, sizes and quantities, prices and totals, the shipping service you chose, and your confirmation that the order is for laboratory research only. If you ship to a different address, we also keep the billing address you enter. The order’s status, payments and tracking are added to it as it goes. If checkout asks whether we may text you and you tick that box, the order also keeps your yes, the exact wording you saw and when you agreed; ticking it is never required, and replying STOP to any text ends them.

Marketing signup forms store your email, chosen update categories and compounds, signup source, and the wording and time of your consent. Repeating a signup can add preferences without replacing the original consent record. Account preference controls let signed-in users change their choices.

Accounts and sign-in

If you sign in with your email, our authentication provider sends a one-time sign-in code to the address you enter. The code works once and expires. If you choose Google sign-in when it is available, Google and Supabase handle authentication, and we do not receive your Google password. Either way, StimuTide uses your verified account identifier and email and stores profile details you choose to save, such as a display name and organization.

Signed-in account features can save your baskets, favorites, a shipping address for checkout, and email preferences across devices. Quote requests and messages sent while signed in appear in that account’s history; ones sent while signed out aren’t added to it. Orders work differently: the account’s Orders list shows every order placed with its verified email, including orders placed at checkout or from a quote while signed out.

Messages with our team

If you’re signed in, you can message us from your account. We keep those messages with your account: what you write, what we reply, when each was sent, and any request you attach. They stay until you ask us to delete them, and if your account is deleted they go with it.

Only you and the StimuTide team can read them. You see them through your signed-in account, and we see them, with your name, email and organization, in our private dashboard. When there’s a new message we may email it to you from support@stimutide.com, so a copy will also be in your inbox. Please don’t send anything in a message you wouldn’t put in an email.

Basket and quote reminders

If you type your email into the quote form but don’t send it, or into checkout but don’t finish paying, we save that email, your name if you entered it, and the items in your basket so we can send you reminders. We don’t save your shipping address or phone number for this. The same goes for items you leave in your basket while signed in. We send up to four basket reminders over about eight days. If we send you a quote and you don’t reply, we may send up to two before it expires. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link, and using it stops all of them for that address. Reminders are not a marketing subscription, and they never go out to someone who has opted out.

What stays in your browser

The website uses browser storage for research-access choices, basket items, sign-in sessions and your animation setting. A form keeps what you’ve typed in that browser tab until you send it, close the tab or sign out. Clearing site data removes all of it. Sign out before leaving a shared device.

How records are used and hosted

Information is used to provide account features, retain your choices, review quote requests and messages, process and ship orders, and record marketing consent. When you send a quote request or a message, we may email a confirmation with your reference and reply using our support address. The forms don’t send welcome emails or marketing campaigns.

We use service providers for website hosting, authentication, data storage and email delivery. These providers process the information needed to operate their services. The form service uses a keyed, non-readable representation of the request’s network address for short-lived rate limiting. Private form records are accessed through server-side controls; they are not a public directory. To keep automated spam out, our forms and email sign-in may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical information from your browser to tell people from bots.

When an order is ready to ship, we give the name, shipping address, phone number, items and prices to the fulfillment center that packs it. The shipping-label service and the carrier that deliver it get the name, shipping address and phone number, so the carrier can reach you if there’s a delivery problem, and the label service also gets the items. If you pay by card, you pay on a checkout page run by Stripe: we give Stripe your email address, the order number and the amount due, and your card details go to Stripe, never to us.

Questions, changes, and deletion requests

You can update available profile and email settings in your account. For other access, correction, or deletion requests, email support@stimutide.com or use the contact form, and tell us the email, order number or reference involved. Verification may be needed before information can be disclosed or changed.

We keep account, signup and request records until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them. There is no automatic deletion schedule. Clearing your browser removes only what is stored on your device.

Keep submissions relevant

Please do not send payment card information, passwords, medical records, or other sensitive information in a quote request or message. The site does not collect card details or provide medical advice.
